এক্সটার্নাল ব্লগ এডিটর ব্যবহার করে সচলায়তনে পোস্ট করব কীভাবে?

ইদানিং ব্লহ এডিটর নামে একাধিক সফওয়্যার পাওয়া যায়। আবার মাইক্রোসফট ওয়ার্ড ২০০৭ এর মত এডিটরগুলো এডিট করার পাশাপাশি লেখাটা সরাসরি ব্লগে প্রকাশ করার সুযোগ দেয়। আইডিয়া হচ্ছে আপনি স্বাভাবিক লেখালেখির মতো করে ডকুমেন্ট তৈরি করবেন, আপনার প্রিয় এডিটরে, প্রিয় ডেক্সটপ সফটওয়্যার ব্যবহার করে তারপর প্রকাশ করে দেবেন যে কোন ব্লগ ওয়েবসাইটে যতবার ইচ্ছা।

এখন থেকে এই সুযোগটা আপনি সচলায়তনের ক্ষেত্রেও ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন। নীচের কতগুলো সফটওয়্যার এবং তাদের কনফিগারেশন বর্ণনা করা হল। এছাড়া এই ওয়েবসাইটে গিয়ে ম্যাকিন্টশ কম্পিউটারের জন্য কিছু তথ্য পাবেন।

ফায়ারফক্সের স্ক্রাইবফায়ার
স্ক্রাইবফায়ার হচ্ছে ফায়ারফক্সের একটি প্লাগইন। ব্রাউজারের মধ্যে থেকেই ছবি প্রকাশ থেকে শুরু করে এডিটিং, ফাইল আপলোডিং সব করতে পারে ছোট্ট এবং চমৎকার এই টুলটি। সচলায়তনের জন্য এটা কনফিগার করতে:

• ডানের Blogs > Add এ ক্লিক করুন।
• পপআপ উইন্ডোতে তে ম্যানুয়ালি কনফিগার ক্লিক করুন।
• তারপর যে উইন্ডো আসবে সেখানে ড্রপ-ডাউন লিস্ট থেকে Custom Blog সিলেক্ট করুন; next ক্লিক করুন।
• এরপর উপরের ড্রপ ডাউন লিস্ট থেকে সিলেক্ট করুন Movable Type এবং নিচের টেকস্ট বক্সে http://www.sachalayatan.com/next/xmlrpc.php অংশটুকু টাইপ করে বা পেস্ট করে দিন। next ক্লিক করুন।
• এরপর আপনার ইউজার নেইম এবং পাসওর্য়াড জানতে চাইবে। আপনার বাংলা ইউজার নেইম এবং পাসওর্য়াড দিন। আপনার ইংরেজি ইউজারে নেইম কিন্তু এখানে কাজ করবে না।
• এরপর সিলেক্ট করুন ব্লগ এবং বইয়ের কোনটি আপনি ব্যবহার করতে চান পোস্ট করার জন্য।

উইন্ডোজ লাইভ এডিটর
উইন্ডোজ এক্সপির জন্য উইন্ডোজ লাইভ এডিটর নামের এই ফ্রি টুলটিও বেশ জনপ্রিয়। ইনস্টল করার পর সচলায়তনের বাংলা ইউজার নেইম, পাসওয়ার্ড, এবং সচলায়তন ওয়েব এড্রেস: http://www.sachalayatan.com/next/ দিলেই সরাসরি কাজ করবে।

কিউমানা

You need to add a "publisher" (which is Qumana's term for a blog) to publish content from Qumana.

1. On the "Drop content here window" of Qumana, right click and select "Configure" and then "Publishers..."
   • If you're in the "Qumana Editor" part of the program, click the "Posting" menu, then "Configure", then "Configure Publishers"
2. Click the "New" button.
3. Type in the URL of your site and click on "Next". Do not include the trailing slash e.g. http://www.sachalayatan.com/next
4. Qumana will try to locate the best options. If you don't see a username/password prompt, use the following settings:
   • Server: Movable Type API
   • Host: www.sachalayatan.com/next
   • EndPoint: /xmlrpc.php
   • Port: 80
   • Click "Next"
5. Type in your username and password and click on "Next"
6. You need to select the content type (one of "blog", "book", "page" or "story" depending on what content types are enabled by the site admin). For blogs, this will be "blog". Page, Book and Story are less commonly used. Ask your site admin if you don't know which content type to use. Click to select the appropriate content type (e.g. "Your Site:blog") and then click on "Next".
7. If Qumana automatically configured your settings, you will need to change the API to "MovableType API".
   • From the Drop pad (you may be able to skip the first step as the list of blogs may already be available):
     1. Right-click the Drop pad, then choose "Configure", then choose "Publishers".
     2. Select the blog you just created. Click the "Edit" button.
     3. Drop down the "Server" list, and choose "MovableType API" and click the "Next" several times until you see the "Finish" available.
     4. Click the "Finish" button.
   • From the Qumana Editor:
     1. Click the "Posting" menu, then "Configure", then "Configure Publishers"
     2. Select the blog you just created. Click the "Edit" button.
     3. Drop down the "Server" list, and choose "MovableType API" and click the "Next" several times until you see the "Finish" available.
     4. Click the "Finish" button.

To post content from Qumana:

Note there's more than one way to do this. The following is just the most common.

1. Right click on the "Drop Content Here" window and select "New Post..."
2. Type in a title.
3. Click on the main content box and type your content. Use the Qumana toolbar for a rich-text editing interface much like what the browser-based interface uses.
4. Next to "Post Blog" select the Publisher for your blog e.g. "Your Site:blog"
5. Click "Post Blog" to publish your content. If you want to set something aside in draft mode, click "File"->Save to File.... If you click "Save", if will not appear on the site until you click "Post Blog".
